Girls in grades K – 5 wear the Peter Pan collar blouse.
As the weather gets colder, the girls may opt to wear navy blue slacks (must be from Flynn and O’Hara) instead of a jumper and skirt.
All students may wear a white turtle neck with the logo on the collar. These may be purchased at Flynn and O’Hara.
All students must wear a navy blue sweater vest or sweater (v neck or cardigan) with the school logo.
There are 208 students enrolled at Immaculate Conception in grades kindergarten through eight. The academic abilities of our students reflect all levels within the normal range of intelligence. We welcome all children regardless of race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin. “It is our purpose to educate each child for personal development, so that their potential may reach fulfillment and that they may use their gifts and talents to enrich the world of which they are such an important part.”(Student-Parent Handbook, p.2)
Student Activities
Religious activities are observed every month. We celebrate Mass together as a whole school. Students have the opportunity to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation with their classmates frequently. Volunteers from the upper grades are trained as alter servers, lectors, and cantors. All students have Prayer Partners with whom they celebrate events and get together to share religious activities.
Academically, students at every grade level participate in Art, Writing, and Math competitions. Many classes take fieldtrip to educational sites or participate in school with various art, music, and language arts programs. Interested students can learn a foreign language in after school classes under the direction of teachers from Bucks County Community College.
Students are given the opportunity to participate in sports through the parish’s Catholic Youth Organization. The CYO provides teams according to grade level in soccer, cheerleading, basketball, track, baseball, and softball. In addition, students may also participate in roller-skating parties, ice cream social, family movie night, dances, and many other social events offered throughout the year.
A sense of community service is shown by the entire school involvement in our annual Walk-a-thon, Thanksgiving Food Basket Drive, and Christmas Bazaar. Students in kindergarten through eighth grade participate in Student Council. Leaders of Student Council are eighth grade students who are elected by students in grades five through eight. Many seventh and eighth grade students participate in Safety Patrol.
